IN CHARACTER
PHYSICAL AFFECTION: While Jinx can be extremely touchy and touch-starved, she’s choosy about who she does this with. Once you’ve earned her trust, you can fully expect to be grabbed and even occasionally hung on.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Please! It’s the best way Jinx can express herself, not to mention way safer than being emotionally vulnerable. That’s the real killer.
RELATIONSHIPS: While a romance of some kind is possible, Jinx is pretty protective over her heart and deeply resistant to letting down her guard. Any relationship would likely be contentious and rocky at first — but then, that’s Jinx. You’d have to be into antagonism to be with her.
PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: She has no defenses against these special abilities and none to speak of for herself, but I’d definitely need a head’s up before anyone attempts to infiltrate Jinx’s mind. It’s a minefield in there — to say the absolute least.

MEDICAL INFORMATION: In canon, Jinx struggles with both auditory and visual hallucinations, and she often seems spacy or lost in thought. She lives with CPTSD from severe childhood trauma, which can include flashbacks to that time and memory gaps, and she also experiences suicide ideation. Physically, Jinx is malnourished and has severe lung damage.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: War, death, firearms, terrorism, suicide, murder — to name a few things. I don’t plan on really digging into the heavier subjects in casual conversation, and I fully intend on using content warnings if it happens. That said, feel free to PM me if you’d prefer I avoid tagging yours with Jinx! No questions asked.

VISUAL: Thin and wirey, Jinx might stand at only 5’3” but she packs a hell of a punch. She’s also pretty hard to miss with long bright blue hair and pink eyes, but it’s her unconventional style that really draws attention. That’s the point, of course — to distract from the fact that she’s struggling emotionally.
AURAL: Raspy is the first thing most people notice about Jinx’s voice. She sustained lung damage from exposure to severe air pollution, which has affected the way she sounds. Otherwise, her voice tends toward either affectionate or mocking sarcasm. It all just depends on who you are to her.
OLFACTORY: Paint, axle grease, and cigar smoke tend to cling to Jinx, though only two of those things are materials she works with. She’s a brilliant inventor with a knack for building things using little more than scrap, and her smell — and appearance, really — exemplify that.
DEMEANOUR: Jinx is best distilled by the word restless. She’s always fiddling with random objects, seemingly unable to stop moving — and that’s by design. You can always tell where she is because she’s making noise somewhere.
